Problem: startup employers of 100+ trainees would love to see stronger development in their problem solving, project management, relationships building & teamwork skills
Solution: developed 4 modules around those learning needs; provided a safe space for trainees to share their pain points; applied new skills in role-playing exercises
Result: 90%+ learners found the sessions useful & relevant to apply back to their work contexts

Used Discord for Gen Z to feel safer to share their stories

Partner: HKUST
Problem: due to COVID, the entire teaching training program for 700+ post-graduate TAs had to move online, while we needed to figure out how to keep the learning engaging, active, project-based and visible
Solution: converted the physical learning activities into a massive collaborative activity space on Miro where students shared their thinking and works in dedicated learning stations
Result: 85%+ of learners found the learning experience engaging & relevant; continued the visible & collaborative approach in hybrid mode
Takeaway: how to better organise & analyse unstructured students’ data

Partner: Kau Yan School
Problems: the plans, materials & updates of project-based curricula were scattered in docs, slides or sheets; teachers, students & parents found it hard to collaborate, align & visualise the programs’ development & delivery
Solutions: set up the curriculum planners on Trello, with all details, materials and tasks, for teachers & students; embedded ‘Understanding by Design’ & ‘Visible Learning’ frameworks; captured & communicated students’ proof of progress on Seesaw (digital portfolio)
Results: 20+ new modules co-developed on Trello; significant time saved from discovering & searching for files or info
